Henry Tureau, a 12 year old boy, thought that he was better than everything. His whole school had heard it. He constantly disagrees with everything, never seeming satisfied with anything. He considered romance out of the question, and dedicated his childhood to silence and good grades. But, when a girl from Florida moves to his town, he finds his world shaken. He falls in love, silently, something he promised himself never to do. But, as his world slowly crumbles, he finds that she is his glue.

But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human.
