A Mutually Assured Attachment
Roses are red, violets are blue. Want a soul mate? We've got some for you. - A Mutually Assured Attachment A "kick-ass awesome idea". That was how Ally introduced the idea to me. A social experiment to determine the best relationship formatting and she wanted me - ME! Elowyn Jane Fitz-Simmons, quiet chemistry nerd extraordinaire - to join in. My response: not just no, but hell no! Who needed that kind of romantic, I-look-into-your-eyes-and-instantly-fall-in-love rubbish in their life? Certainly not me. Did the idea of having someone to return home to at the end of the day peak a small interest in me? Yes. But that was the purpose of a cat. Something to care after, something to love, but nothing that required too much effort...Simple and easy. Perfect. And, yet, somehow - although I pass all blame firmly onto Ally - I found myself not only interviewing candidates, but going on dates, moving in with three men and introducing my great-grandmother to my three new beaus. Why? All because of a Mutually Assured Attachment. P.S. I need a new best friend. Any suggestions??Concluida

His Last Words [COMPLETED]
I didn't realize at first that those were going to be his last words... I never stopped to think that I wouldn't get another chance to call his name and have him throw his arms around me. I would never be able to tell him how much I loved him or how important he was to me, ever again. I couldn't even comprehend the thought of losing him. It's been seven years since that day and they haven't seen each other since. Carla became a school counsellor in the hopes of giving support to young children who are struggling with life but she never really lets herself fall back into her past. Evan became a paramedic so that he could save lives and save people from having to hear how their loved ones died moments before they arrived at the scene. He never lets himself truly remember that day or the paramedics who delivered the news to him while Carla stood by the wreck, tears falling from her eyes and his cell phone clutched in her hand. |------------------------------------------------------| | Short Story | Teen Fiction | No one ever truly wants to say goodbye to the ones they love because that will mean admitting that they are going- leaving us. It's You
A simple girl. A simple boy. And a simple love story. Didith: I was only seventeen when I first met him and finally fell in love with him. Five years. For five years, I held on to his love. Yes, five years. I held on to a love that was never mine, and I guess, will never be. For five years, I have waited for him to love me. I kept my patience - hoping and waiting. Ben: What I regret the most was not being able to tell her my real feelings. For five years, I did nothing but think that I'd tell her one day how much I love her. 𝑽𝑰𝑺𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑶𝑭 𝑳𝑶𝑽𝑬|Book 1
Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it a memory... You know you're in love when you can say anything to the person and you know they won't laugh at you. When you can see their face when you close your eyes. When you can still feel their arms around you holding you tight after they're gone. When you can still taste their kiss after you have said goodbye. You can tell you're in love when you miss them before they're gone. When their voice lingers in your ears. When their presence eases any pain. When their name sends chills down your spin. When they're the only thing you can think about. You know you're in love when you can see all their hopes and dreams and their soul when you look into their eyes. When they call you at four in the morning to say, "I Love You" and mean it. When your tears stain not only their shirt, but also their heart. When even a simple chore done with them can become a lasting memory. Ultimately, you know you're in love when you can't imagine living without them and can't figure how did you live before you knew them. When they fulfill every need and without them you're incomplete. The love of someone else completes the heart, and sound and mind all at once. 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎-𝐟𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏Concluida
