Emily Mozelt is 16. She has had some rough times with guys, or well guy in her lifetime, but she meets this guy named Davey, who she literally bumps into the first times she meets him. But that's not who this story is about. It's about Emily, and this boy named Daniel she met at the coffee shop where she kept running into Davey. Daniel is hottt, but he's also sort of mysterious and edgy. Daniel has a tattoo and piercings and drives around on a sleek, black harley. Of course, this can't last forever in Emily's life. The guy she used to 'date', Jason has started to come up to her at school and whisper weird things to her that make her really start to worry about this guy, Davey. How are Davey and Jason related to one another and why does the topic keep coming up that she should have stuck with Davey? And how does everyone seem to know about her new found relationship with Daniel Hayes? Read to find out. Or you might be taken hostage too.

THIS IS COMPLETELY UNDER RECONSTRUCTION: I'm here to give you a better written and updated version. (July 2024) After a terrible hate crime suffered by 16 year old Luke, everything changes. His mom uproots his life and moves him to a small city in Vermont. Things are starting to look up for Luke, new friends and a new start, no one knows his story here. At this new place, no one knows how broken he is. He hides it well, convincing even his mom that he's not emotionally affected by these awful scars. He has to hide who he is, he will no longer be the 'dorky gay kid', he's just the straight mysterious new kid with a broken arm and a scarred face. Hiding who he is as a person is getting hard for him to deal with. He's always been an open guy, and he's not sure how much longer he can tell lame excuses about how he got the thick angry red slice that runs down from his eyebrow to his jaw....The worst part is pretending to be straight, which was his moms idea of course. He meets the very athletic and openly gay Brett, who starts to try getting close to him. but he can't allow that temptation. Will Luke be strong enough to be himself? Or will he lose himself in his new identity?
