The Kingdom of Steam is ruled by Amethyst, a Queen who came into power not through royal blood, but because of an ability that saved the kingdom in a time of crisis. Years ago, the industrial kingdom's coal and oil supply was dwindling. Then a girl was discovered. A girl with metal fingers and metal platings on parts of her skin. A girl who could control the Cog and Gear and make all the machines go. Now the Kingdom of Steam plays by her rules. But when another girl is discovered with a similar ability, will the rebels be able to overthrow Amethyst's reign of power?
