These are only short passages just to see the beauty and flaws of the world . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ IN THE DARK describes fear and other harsh emotions of courage. fiction ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the dark ------------ I am standing in a clearing. Pine trees loom above me . I glance behind me . The early winter icy air envelopes me in its arms . I flip my head around as I hear a menacing sound. Alas , it was but an owl. Its glowing cadmium yellow eyes stare into my soul itself . Its grey feathers camouflage into the veridian curtain of the pines. With a swift swish of its majestic wings, it dissapeares into the woods. I am alone once more. I suddenly choke on the icy air , that stands frozen thick around me . I lower myself onto the ground. The chilling dew brushes my skin as I sit . I come to my senses as i sit , staring into the distance. I nowAll Rights Reserved
