The only place he could think of, was the Outlands. Zira happily let Kion into her pride, knowing he would be a great ally. Evil crept into Kion's soul, but he tried to ignore it. Kion visited the Pridelands sometimes, hoping his father, and family had changed, but they never did. Simba noticed Kion leaving and coming back almost every day, and followed him. When Kion was caught, Simba was furious. He told Kion he had to choose. Kion was put into a situation where he had to decide from respect, love, and affection, or his family.
