I wrote this story for school. You can interpret it however you want, but here's what I wrote it to mean. You're running through life and the cuts that the forest are giving you is self harm. The dark forest represents depression. The person chasing, well that can be two different things. It can be your friends or family trying to help you, or suicide.

Have you ever walked outside at night? When it's so dark and you can't see a thing at first? I often do that and I'm never afraid.
