The Greatest Abomination
Andrew Smith is a 17 year old boy intent on having the best life possible. There's just one problem - his orientation. In this LGBT themed story, he narrates his experiences from childhood to adolescence in what life as a gay boy has consisted of, including all the laughs, tears, loves, disappointments, and challenges along the way. It's a tale of self-acceptance and the desire to be just like anyone else. Through many ups and downs, Andrew begins to lose hope in himself and his future. Is all hope lost for Andrew or will things work themselves out in the end? ----- This story is a mixture of my own personal experiences and some fiction to make it "flow" better. It's the first type of writing I've ever really done, and was originally written to self-help, to allow me to cope and deal with things. I decided to publish it because there might be others out there who face the same situations as me, and it helps to know you're not alone. Anyway, feel free to leave any type of feedback/criticism! This story and it's characters are basically full of my own insecurities and fears, so yeah enjoy. If you start getting anxiety because of it I am so sorry, and know that I am here for you. I understand all the pain of bull crap so many have to deal with, on top of rigorous classes and a mental disorder. Eden is your typical American teenager... Kind of. His family hates him. He hates him. His old friends hate him. His old boyfriend hates him. Basically everyone he's grown up with in his hometown hates his god damn guts. All because he's gay, stupid right? As always, in almost every single story ever, something happens that will change his life forever... Ohohoh so spooky and mysterious and stuff okay bye end of description of story. Jason Williams didn't think going out to dinner with his family was going to be any different than usual. Comments about his sexuality, some teasing from his brothers, and lots of paparazzi. You know, nothing strange at all. But a fight with his father made Jason storm out of the restaurant, down an alleyway, and suddenly his life isn't the usual anymore. He woke up in an unfamiliar dark room, and a handsome boy opened his door to explain. The snowy-haired genius was holding him captive until he got what he wanted. Life couldn't be worse. Warning: This book contains mental issues such as depression, schizophrenia, and others. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, then you should probably think twice before reading this. Of course, if you want to read it and you're sensitive, I'm not stopping you. This book only touches upon the subjects; It doesn't go deep into suicide attempts and voices. Remember despite the hate these mental illnesses receive, I believe you. Mental illnesses are no joke, they're not something I try to use for views. I am not hating on the illnesses. I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them. If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor. Or, if you're too scared for that, I'll happily listen and give you advice. Thank you! (I needed to include this because I didn't want people thinking I thought the mental illnesses were stupid. Nolan is a young adult who goes through stages of grief from a mental illness called ptsd which causes him to feel conflict of which he endures mostly towards his relationship with Elliot Hamilton. It is up to Elliot to show Nolan just how much he means to the world with little things that constantly consist of the two's everyday lifestyle. Nolan has to learn how to love all while setting aside the traumatic pain he endured by trying to become a better vision of himself for his lover.Complete
