Misfortune of the Era

Smack dab in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, right between where Greenland and the Arctic lie, is two remote islands, connected by a land bridge formed a millenia ago. These islands are not your typical islands; one has a phosphorescent mist rise up to cover the Evergreens and with mountains that pick up the glow of the Evergreens, and is inhabited by a fabled blue fox with gold eyes. Wintermist is a developing community, just gaining the access to electricity; while Graceland Isle is completely barren island, covered with ice and snow with few villages and a very basic lifestyle.

Two girls, a century apart, one named Ocean and the other Erifella

Ocean's life ends with a revolt that she started in the year 3145 of the Great Sun, starting a catastrophe and a new era. A catastrophe that will last until the year 102 of the Great Schism, the time that Erifella lives out her days. Some may call this the Misfortune of the Era.
