The darkness I have known but of the light I knew little. I walked into the light once and the shadow of darkness followed. I did not stay long for I did not belong. So the shadows I walk and the darkness I tread for all should see the light before they are dead. For I have looked upon the light and it upon me. Without doubt I do not Belong but others should see what beheld me and smiled as I chose to turn away. For I felt no scorn or grief as I accepted my fate. Remember it is never to late to cast a new Statesboro never too soon to love.
