Five teenagers find themselves writhing in pain on a hospital bed. After what seems like ages they are finally released. The teenagers meet up in the lobby and find that all five of them shared the same disease, Nitsu.
After a couple weeks of time, the teenagers start to notice things. Weird things. Like how Trenton can suddenly read minds. And Aria can heal immediately after getting shot. And even how Jade can suddenly see into the future. But, upon finding out that the five teenagers now possess amazing powers a bigger problem arises. The government is out to get them and their creators are out to kill them.
Trying to live in a normal world, deal with everyday high school drama, and balance out the fact that they all now possess supernatural powers, Aria, Blake, Trenton, Jade, and Rowen fight to stay alive in the new world they have been introduced to.
