Alas has a mission, stop the Crimson DustKeeper. It may look like a simple plan, but there's a reason they called him so. The moment he found their enchanting land, Astria, he had plunged it into an apocalyptic wasteland. The people have lost hope, but she won't give up hers. When she hears of an item that can renew the entire land, she jumps at the chance to find it as soon as possible. But the powerful relic can only be unlocked from an ancient power that was kept in one family and meant to be passed down since then. After searching with upmost secrecy, she finds the final descendant. Now it's up to her to find the mystical artifact with the desendant and save her world for once and for all. It won't be easy, but luckily Fate has other plans.

A man with a seriously messed up life and a load of mental problems made a lot of mistakes in his life but one stands above the rest. The story is about one man with a broken mind doing everything he can to try and make up for the wrong he did and find the woman he loves. This story is very intense and isn't for light reading. I think of the story like this: This isn't the story of a hero slaying a dragon and rescuing the princess. Nor is this a story about a hero who triumphs over evil and rescues the maiden in peril. This is the story of a man, who fights as much with himself, as he does the world around him. He is no hero, he is simply a man, trying to make the best he can of himself, and fix what he broke. He is both the protagonist, and antagonist of this story, because he does as much harm to himself as he does good.
