Dona Dei are people with extraordinary powers. Some can walk through walls, read minds, compel you, self-heal, immortality, you name it. Some are even willing to kill others just to be number one. Kill humans who can stop them. They would do anything.

Raven Sanders seems like your normal teenager with the popularity and quarterback boyfriend. Her life is perfect. Or is it?
Raven's life is flipped upside down when new badass Jack Conners shows up at Raven's high school on a motorcycle. In one day, all that Raven knew about the world was a lie. All the superheroes in stories aren't fictional, but they're real.
Jack tells Raven that she's supposed to save the world. Save all Dona Dei. And that she is number one on the most wanted dead list of a powerful Dona Dei who kills their own kind and captures them. But how can an ordinary girl save the world? Save people with extraordinary gifts? Save herself from deadly people?
Raven will learn to fight, learn an ability she never knew she had, trust those who she barely knows on instinct. Push away those she has always trusted just to save herself. To save the world. Raven will fight just to save herself and everyone else.
	Raven is the Warrior.

For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. Women and their daughters hide, protected in their homes, while men take their sons through the world, teaching them the responsibilities of having a family to feed and dangers to avoid. No one leaves the home unless it's essential, and most of the world prefers it that way. Until one girl spends her days perched on her window seat, looking down at the world below and dreaming of a different life. Her eyes are always drawn to the dark, ominous drains in the street, the ones that often blink open to swallow and person whole. One day, that person is her little brother, snatched right in front of her from their arms of their father and gone forever. When a person is snatched, they never return, and life goes on without them. But she can't accept that. Breaking all the rules, all the things she's ever known, she braves the world outside her little townhouse and goes on a mission into the darkness to find her brother. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!

That strange feeling where a person feels like someone is standing behind them, but when they turn around, no one is there. That is how Kira feels; the intensity of those feelings grows with each passing year. It was only a matter of time before the Gates would open, and once more, Kira would face her own personal demon. He will come for her, and one of them will die, if not both of them. Looking back at her very long life, Kira realizes that she has many regrets. Such as allowing herself to live in fear, sheltering herself away in heaven, giving up her only child, not being there for her or their kin, and only watching what she has created bloom from afar. Had Kira known she was running out of time, she would've done things differently. For the choices she has made, she will pay the price. Time is ticking, like the sands of an hourglass. No matter how hard she tries to delay the inevitable, the sand continues to flow through her fingers. Nothing could prepare them for what is to come. Between the journal and Kira's nightmarish dreams, she doesn't know which scares her more. However, she does know one thing, and that is that she refuses to go down easily, even if it means she must make the ultimate sacrifice. It will be a fight to the finish.
