"I have a deal," He says.
"I'm sorry I don't agree to deals." I say wanting to get away from him.
"You haven't even heard what I have to say!" Nicholas growls, "That's the point, I don't want to hear about it."
"I don't care whether you want to hear it or not I'm going to say it anyway." He pauses then continues. "I know your financial issues - but I can change that. I have a deal, you marry me for a full year and a half and I pay you a million dollars in return."
He says million dollars as if he'll still have more even when he gives me the money. "I don't want your money." I deadpanned. Nicholas rose an eyebrow.
"So you'd want to work you ass off even if someone offers to give you a million dollars to enjoy life!?" Nicholas laughs finding this amusing.
I considered his words for a few minutes before saying the one word that would change my life for better or for worse?
"Deal."
