150 years after the Great War of 2198, the survivors have multiplied and split into tribes. To avoid a marriage to a man she does not love (and to keep the peace between The Floor People and The Water People), Councilman's daughter Fyra Va'tra agrees to a marriage between herself and Akvo Arnettson. Together, they must maneuver the trials of life in this new and dangerous postwar world.

This is a somewhat short story, but not too short. There will be no smut and no serious language; there will be drama. Any mistakes are my own.

Forever Knight

5 chapitres Terminé

This short story is the product of a lost bet. A friend challenged me to write it and we both enjoyed it enough that I wanted to share it with all of you on WattPad. It's fun and frivolous and my first attempt at writing futuristic dystopian. The United States and its Government have fallen apart and it's up to the country's citizens to find a way to carry on. In a small, central Pennyslvania, river town a group of people have carved out a stable existence under the leadership of their Governor and his volunteer militia - the Royal Order of Knights. The only problem? Governor Kramm's daughter. Charli grew up watching (and falling in love with) her best friend as he trained to become an honored Knight and her dream has always been to be one of them. However, her father's current laws won't allow women to serve. When their community falls under attack and she risks her own life to save her father's, will it be her final sacrifice or her proving grounds?
