Rolford Town. A place I never heard of until the day we packed up and left everything behind. They said it was for a fresh start, but I knew better. You can't outrun ghosts; they cling to you, no matter how far you go. It started off quietly, just like every other town. There was hope for a peaceful life. But it was all a delusion. A naive delusion. At first, I thought it was just the move, just the adjustment. But then things started to change. I changed. It was like this place knew my secrets, knew my fears, and it fed on them. It wasn't long before everything I held onto started slipping away again. Every fragile bits of normalcy I had managed to piece together after that happened. Everything around began to crumble, faster than I could grasp. It felt like the town was swallowing me whole, dragging me into some dark, twisted underworld where nothing made sense. The wounds I tried so hard to patch up were only ripped wider, and deeper by this disgusting place and its people. And yet, I didn't run away. I couldn't. I couldn't when I found you. The you everyone warned me about. The you who was just like me, or so they said - aggressive, intimidating. I was drawn to you, maybe because I saw my own shattered pieces reflected in your eyes. We were both drowning, but somehow, being around you felt like I was breathing again, even if it was just for a moment. But even that.. even that was twisted here. I couldn't leave. Not now. Not when there was still something, or someone, worth fighting for. My brother needed me, even if he didn't know it. And you.. there was something about you that I can't let go. Maybe together we can find a way out of this darkness, break free from whatever curse this town held. Psycho Sunshine 18+

10 parts Complete Mature

I'm broken, but only a little bit. Cracked, really. The small town I'm from doesn't see it that way, though. No, they think I'm a hurricane waiting to happen after what happened to my family eleven years ago. So what if I have an obsession with blood? That doesn't make me crazy! Right? They should be thanking me and calling me a hero after everything I do to keep this town safe from the real monsters. I'll keep my fiery godmother skills to the shadows. I might not be getting any awards anytime soon, but at least everyone is safe, mostly. All is well and good with my lonely little life until a giant of a man that sets my soul on fire comes searching for answers about the death of his brother. Did I mention that I'm the one who killed that brother? oops. This is a short erotic read intended for 18+ ONLY.
