"Hide, stay away from me! I can't control myself! I don't want to hurt you." Kaneki turned away from his friend, his arms hanging limply by his sides.
"Kaneki-" Hide started, staring at the white haired boy.
"Hide please!" Kaneki pleaded, turning to face Hide as tears flowed down his face.
"Kaneki, you are not a threat to me. Please, come home with me." Hide stepped over fragments of the broken chair, reaching out and grabbing Kaneki's shoulder.
"Hide, leave me alone."
"No."
"Go away!"
"I'm not leaving you here. Not when this is all my fault." Hide started to cry, he sniffled and wiped at his eyes.
"This is not your-"
"Yes, Kaneki, it is." Hide wrapped his friend in a hug
