"My screams and whimpers made Alec look at me with a worried face. That gave the snake an opportunity to strike and it hit him with all its might in the stomach. He hurled back and the snake picked him back up with its teeth and launched him against a wall where he slid to the floor and lay there motionless. The thing gave a satisfied hiss and turned its head towards me. I'm next. I looked around for something, anything to defend myself with, but just a look at my leg that was etched and hurt like nothing I have ever felt before, my arm that was laying beside me in an angle that couldn't possibly be healthy, and my shoulder where my skin was completely scraped off and was bleeding without pause, I knew that even if I had a laser sword I would be dead meat. "

The Contract
Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." Aileeta Cortez, an 18 year old Italian. she looks like any normal teenage girl but she holds a bad reputation. she's sent to England to carryout an almost impossible mission. Alex Colebert, a 19 year old European boy who crosses paths with Aileeta in Oakham college, England. ************ "Don't be fooled by my beauty and age cold butt or whatever you call yourself" I grin wickedly at him, loving how the fear burns all over his face, I love fear, it boosts my ego. I take slow strides closer to him, he struggles to break loose from the chair he's tied to but it's just a waste of time. I'm now very close to him, my knees brushing his shaky ones. I place one leg on the side of the chair he's seated on and pull out a pistol from my waistband. I look into his hazelnut eyes for his reaction. scared, confused, just the reaction I was dying for. "Holy shit that's a gun" he exclaims "I told you earlier not to be fooled. I'm evil, wicked, I'm the devil, I rob banks, innocent people, I derive joy from people's pain and fear, I get wealth by doing dare devil jobs-" I cut myself in, not wanting to leak too much info. I've said just about enough already. "I still love you " he spat, glaring intently at me. mine widens in shock I quickly mask it over with an emotionless and bored expression. I close up our space once more. "Even if I am ready to blow out your brain? don't you think it's a little too soon for you to use the word "love" ?it's pretty strong!! " I press the gun on his temple, my finger lingering on the trigger. *********Complete

Death's Awakening
"Kill..." the low whispering voice trailed off into my head. I don't think the strange whispering voice came from anyone in the room. It was too loud; too abnormel; too deadly. Suddenly a cold shiver ran down my back making me scream and cry out for someone, something, anything. I want to be alone, somwhere dark, somewhere safe. My eyes open to see a woman cradling me in her arms. A man with red eyes, tan skin, and blonde hair starred at me. His eyes sunk into my head making me wince. The woman is natuarlly warm and comfortable, but her face is stained with tears mixed with blood on her, once beautiful, face. She smeared some of the blood onto my puffy cheeks with a warm beaten and calloused hand. "You're gonna be okay," she assured me. More tears fell from her eyes. I looked closer into her grayish, I think, eyes. They had evil tucked beneath fear in them. I don't know what she means, yet her words mean the world to me at this very moment: 4 minutes ago, I was born.Complete

He transformed into a monster. He had scales on the sides of his body. His face was almost human but the monster part took over more. He had claws and a long dragons tail. I got scared. "Please don't eat me!" I backed up against the wall. He got closer to me. I was so scared. "Please!" I had tears running down my cheeks. He took my arms and pinned me up against the wall. His tongue was like a snakes tongue. He licked my neck. I was crying. He hissed in my ear before he talked. "I'll make a deal with you little human. I will let you live. IF. You belong only to me. I will come visit you every night and leave before the sun rises." I stared at him. Belong only to him? I wouldn't have a boyfriend. Would he make me do things I didn't want to do? Would he get mad one day and eat me? But I couldn't think about that right now. It was either this or die. I sighed so I could speak clearly. "Yes." One night, a creature snuck into Sammy's bedroom. Instead of choosing to eat her, he offers her a once in a lifetime opportunity. Sammy's life has been going downhill since her father's passing. So her agreeing to belong to this creature was just the tip of the iceberg. Soon she becomes involved in a world she never knew existed.
