Ashley Scott was the kind of girl you could easily forget, she had a plain name and a plain face. With small brown eyes and shoulder length brown hair she was not beautiful nor ugly, she was average. No one knew her, no one remembered her. Her own mother ignored her, she was an only child and never knew what it was like to have someone pay attention to her. Sometimes she wondered what her life would have been like if she had a sibling, a younger sister to adore her and look up to or an older brother would have protected and confided in her. But now she will never know because now she is dead.

This isn't a love story, this does not have a happy ending. This is a story about abuse.
