Being the girlfriend of the school's golden boy and basketball star sounds fun. Especially when he's so eager to show you off to everyone, to his mother.
But what if it's all for pretend?

Nina Matthews is stuck in a pretty much sucky situation.
She is being blackmailed by Noah Stryker, the school's golden boy to be his girlfriend.

Why you may ask?

It all happened purely on coincidence when one day, she stumbled into a private conversation with Noah and his mother, aka Principal Stryker.
His mother has dropped a bombshell that leaves them both shocked:
Either he stopped his heartbreaker-player ways or he isn't able to play in any more upcoming basketball games.
Spotting Nina after the heated argument with his mother, he gets an idea.
She is a nerd. With perfect grades. His mother would love her and if she became his girlfriend, all his problems would be solved.
So he threatens the scholarship she is working so hard to get and what can Nina do?

Yell at him before complying with his wishes of course.

But who can they fool with this charade? Will his mother buy what he is trying to sell?

And will Nina and Noah, two INCREDIBLY different people ever go beyond their blackmailing relationship to possibly something more?

With cheerleaders on his tail, and a childhood friend at her heart, this is going to be one bumpy ride to a possible-but-probably-not-happy-ending.
