How happy are you last Christmas? This story is about a boy spending his Christmas Eve. I tried writing this story to practice telling descriptions of the things around the character. This story is gloomy though. I hope you like it!

(I wrote this in middle school. The second and third installments of this book are better than this one tbh) Ever since I was little I had loved Christmas. When my parents told me Santa Claus wasn't real (I was around 11) I didn't believe them. I always believed he was there even now at 16. I don't know why I still do I just felt that somehow he was out there. I just felt that there was still magic out there. I also still believe in the tooth fairy, cupid, easter bunny, father time, mother nature, sandman, and jack frost. When my dad accidentally makes Santa fall off our roof. Then he puts on the coat and becomes Santa! We go to the North Pole and meet an elf named Bernard. He seemed like a business guy at first, but when he started talking to me he became really shy and bashful which I found adorable. What happens when Dad doesn't want to believe he is Santa Clause? Will me and my brother Charlie ever go back to the North Pole? Will I ever see Bernard again? It's a Calvin Christmas like no other - singing carols, reading 'Twas The Night Before Christmas, and Scott burning the turkey. Yep, your typical Christmas at the Calvin household. ...Or so they thought! Annabelle Calvin, or 'Bell' for short, just turned 16 and finally gets to live with her dad, Scott Calvin, after her parents divorce. When they go to investigate what it was with Annabelle's younger brother Charlie, they see something they thought was only in their imagination. Suddenly, they are taken to the North Pole by none other than Santa's very own reindeers and sleigh. Once they arrive at the North Pole, they are greeted by Bernard, Head Elf No.1, and his younger brother Luke, Head Elf No.2, who tell them that Scott officially became the new Santa Claus as soon as he put on the suit. Join Annabelle and Holly as they both try to convince Scott to accept his role as the new Santa Claus, while trying not to risk having therapy sessions with Dr. 'I-Got-My-PhD-Out-Of-A-Cereal-Box', discovering romance along the way, and slowly come to terms with what their hearts really want. Like a hairbrush will do anything, right? The boy didn't seem to be armed with any weapons, but he did carry a wooden staff that hooked at the end. You eyed him carefully. But the boy was taken aback. "You can see me?!" He asked, almost in disbelief. You raised an eyebrow, "..Yes?.. You're not exactly hiding very well if this is hide n' seek," you stated back at him. "She can see me.." he said to himself, almost in shock, and then his face broke into an endless smile, "She can see me!" The boy did a backflip, which you admitted was impressive because you can't even do a cartwheel, and he landed back on his bare feet. "Sorry to interrupt this.. reunion you're having with yourself but, am I not supposed to see you, or?..." You trail off, but he understood you perfectly, almost as if he's gotten this question before before. You still had your guard up. "Okay, so I'm not exactly.. Human.. or alive.. Well I'm here but I'm not alive because I'm a Winter spirit. I make winter!" He stated. You both stared at each other for a minute or two in complete silence. Then you blinked. Twice even. "Uh.. What? A winter spirit?" He nodded, "Oh, like Jack Frost?" He smirked, and almost started laughing as he crossed his arms, "Snowflake, I am Jack Frost," ~*~ Y/n has had a troubled past, starting with her family passing away and having no friends, she lives alone in her house as a 16 year old girl. But when Pitch Black is back, she and the Guardians have to find a way to defeat him (again). Jack Frost. {I have decided that because of my delusions and my inability to stick to one story and my crushes on older men that I will be making a Jack Frost X Reader story. Specifically because I see a lot about Bernard (love him) and because there is not enough love for Martin Short's Jack Frost. Soooo here will be my attempt at a story. A gypsy boy trying simply trying to survive in a harsh world. But his mother's unknown sickness grows worse with each day and so he must do what he has to in order to earn enough money to find her help This was my main WIP up until a few months ago. I used to spend a lot of time on it but I eventually just lost faith in its potential and moved onto the WIP I'm working on now, which, in my opinion, is a lot better.
