The world has gone to hell. An apocalypse has come and it is taking as many lives as it can. Agents are everywhere, killing anyone on sight for fear of the hostiles. People have become accustomed to hiding away in abandoned buildings or underground. Everyone does what they can to survive. All except Sky. She will put herself and the people around in danger for one reason: to save her brother. Star has been taken to a government-sanctioned institution, and God only knows what is happening to him there. Sky grew up in an underground city. The whole city was in fear of a war happening, which is the reason for the life the people lived underground. The only way the people can breathe fresh oxygen is by a hole in a hidden room that leads up to the surface. The hole and the room are guarded by burly guards, and only people over the age of eighteen are allowed to leave the underground city to collect resources. Sky dislikes these arrangements, however. She wants to see the world with her own eyes before she reaches the age of eighteen. Her plan works, but a few minutes after she goes outside, she gets kidnapped. Is it safe for Sky to escape and return home? Or does she have to stay trapped forever?
