"What was that?" Rolling my eyes, I tried putting on my best poker face. Those were binary numbers, that's all I knew.

"Well, guess," he smirked deviously. I narrowed my eyes at him - how was I supposed to know? It's not like I was a computer.

0100101... I? My thoughts were racing quickly as I tried figuring out the corresponding alphabetical letters of the numbers.

After around 30 seconds, I gave up trying. Sighing in defeat, I gave him the puppy eyes, "Can you just tell me what you want?"

Grinning like a Cheshire Cat, he leaned forward and stared straight into my eyes. I could feel his breath on my face as my cheeks flushed to the colour of scarlet. Our foreheads were almost touching. My breath hitched at the close proximity between us, and my heart was pounding so hard it was if it's going to break through my ribcage at any moment.

Just when I felt too embarrassed and tried breaking the eye contact by turning away, he stroked my right cheek gently, still holding his gaze and murmured,

"It's 'I love you' in binary."
