In the year 2666, the galaxy is a mess, humanity has created a synthetic slave labor that's gone rogue and along with nearly every extra terrestrial empire faces war, poverty and civil wars on multiple fronts. Ammunition, military contractor and mercenary industries are thriving. And thanks to this an armada of rogue synthetic humans erect their government to move in on the troubled Galaxy. The story follows one clone designation NATHAN-A-209. He's recruited for a very special experiment as well for a team of the best soldiers known to the clones. His journey dealing with the experiments, the regular scourges of being a soldier and above all else, his depressed humanity take him on a ride lasting a lifetime.
