What would you do if you found a girl sunken into the ground during a late night walk? The moment you walk up to her and her eyes open, you freeze. You try backing out slowly, but no matter how many steps you take, you're not getting anywhere? The two of you lock eyes, but then she's gone. You turn your head, seeing her trying to glide through the night sky, but with every flop of her wings she drops height. Quickly you realize she's going to crash if you don't do something. You run towards her, seeing her fall towards you. She lands safely in your arms and you notice something with the dark wings on her back. You get blood on your fingers and you hear her beginning to scream. She cries out a sorry before passing out...

This is yet another Rhett and Link fan-fic by me. All I'm saying is that it's probably going to be dark, because I'm probably going to be used this as a kind of VENT thingy. But I hope you'll enjoy the story.

I know it may seem odd to spoil but I want people to know what they're getting into. (BTW this is my FIRST time writing one of these so please bear with me) This will not be a purely romance story but it will be a major part later on. I just really wanted to dive into this wonderful world with my own touch, so here's how I'm going to do it. To start Revali is my favorite character in Breath of the Wild and I think all the champions deserve more story and interaction with Link. This will be taking place after Calamity Ganon's defeat so be wary of spoilers. This will be a SLOW burn and when I mean slow I mean like halfway between a snail and a glacier. Not crazy slow but just enough to make it worth the payoff. I'll say that right now no matter what happens there will be a happy ending because I can't bring myself to write a sad one. Not that it won't get sad along the way, oh no I'm going to take hearts and mince them into a fine chopped stew of emotion. I promise however I will preface anything I feel worth warning about in the beginning of each chapter in authors notes. No matter what happens I just want y'all to know that as long as one person smiles, all the work is worth it to me. Hope you enjoy! :)

When I was about to touch the light I heard a voice, looking toward the sound I saw someone. I saw nine tall figures surrounding me with a man in front of me. "Do you wish to go home?" the man said to me. I replied to him "yes", who wouldn't? Then everything turned to a light blue," Is this the sky?" i thought out loud. I saw that I had my wings, my black hair flowing around me, my white dress flowing in the wind. It then registered in my mind that i was falling, and falling fast. I turned my body and saw the ground nearing me, I braced myself for the blow. When I landed i felt the ground shake, creating a crater. i looked to my left seeing a few people nearing my busted body, i looked back to the sky black spots clouding my vision. i heard the people nearing me screaming. When they neared me they all stopped and gasped at the sight of me. My pure white wings coating in red, my blood. My white dress flowing across my wings also sprayed with my blood, like paint splatters on a pure white canvas. Blood started to get into my light purple eyes. One of the people came near my battered body, snapping out of his distant look, picking me up and started to run me to the hospital, when we ran through the gates people gasped at the sight of my body, my wings dragging the ground. When we got to the hospital he started to order people to get the head nurse to care for my body. When i felt them stabilize my body I fell into a light slumber.
