Book 3. Most kids think they are the reason their parents get a divorce. Dante Rodriquez Knew he was the reason. His mother couldn't accept him being a trans boy. So his father left her. Now they are moving back to his fathers home town where the entire Rodriquez familia lives. He really hopes this year is gonna be better. Then Dante meets Julian Diaz. However, when he travels to the human world one night he is chased and ends up wavering between life and death! Yet, he somehow survives with the help of a young human girl with golden eyes. Rules are stated that if a human finds out about you, you must kill that human. Somehow he couldn't do it, though this girl is rude to him, she doesn't believe him, so there would be no point. The day after an ordeal happens which causes Dazod to have to stay in the human dimension and having to protect Esme... even if he didn't want to at first.
