You've heard cliche after cliche. Each one ending with everyone in a better place then when they started. They're your escape. They help you deal with your own stupid shit. I mean who doesn't want true love and/or happiness? That's not what this is. This is how real life truly is. It's not all damsels in distress, perfect kids, and knight in shining armor. This is depression, insanity, heartbreak, drugs, alcohol, and worst of all, the cliche known as love.

Jess had gotten the short end of the stick her whole life. A crappy boyfriend who cares more about sex then the actual girl, a crack addicted best friend who starves herself to be 'pretty', a single mom who can't stay away from the bottle, and an asshole who just loves to remind her of that. She's just waiting for college to finally be able to leave it all behind. However, fate has never been so kind.
