I was walking to the grocery store when I thought some one was following me
I turned around and saw no one there so I brushed it off by the way my name is Lara and I was being followed by someone my whole life!

I WAS about to turn the corner when someone grabbed me and used their hands to cover mt mouth. I struggled and managed to push the person off and started sprinting down the street, yelling 'HELP'. I turned back to get a glance at the man who attacked me.
I saw his face and it was Der!!!
"What the hell Derek!"I shouted " I was scared shit-less that it was a kidnapper or murderer or gang member" It was NYC, who knew what happens at night and what kind of dangerous people are out there.
"Shh"he said and covered my mouth. I bit his hand and he removed his hand from my mouth.
"Ah, what was that for?" he yelled, his eyes getting darker as he pouted and rubbed his hand.
"I don't know what you're up to but you're so being dumped"I told him. He was acting crazy and it was driving me insane because he wasn't telling me anything.
He growled and ran towards him with his hands out wide to try and grab me, but I turned and kicked him in the leg as he fell to the ground.
"Ha take that I took karate" I said proudly as he was groaning. I was a black belt student. I started sprinting when I turned the corner I saw Derek again with his eyes as dark as the night sky. What happened to his blue eyes?!
"But you w-we-were- right there and n now you're here what? and w what happened to your eyes?"I kept stuttering. He seemed so brooding and dangerous and he didn't seem like the Der I knew and loved.
Before I knew it, darkness succumbed me.

" I lunge forward at him hitting his groin with my knee then right between the eyes. As soon as I do, he crashes to the ground, out cold. I go for more, but a pair of arms snatch my waist lifting me up. I kick my legs and flail my arms to get closer but he is too strong. "Let go of me!" I demand. "Shut up." A low strong voice commands."Is he okay?" "He is fine." I grunt. Then the young adult wakes up, then scurries back away from me. "Sorry ma'- miss... " he says, making me angry again. I give him a cold stare. "I'm sorry." He repeats, standing to his feet. "Put. Me. Down." I demand again. With a huff he puts me down. I step forward with full intentions to punch him again but the man behind me takes my arm, holding me back. I jerk forward to get off his grip but he takes my other arm tightly. "Alright! I'm done! I'm done!" I huff in defeat. " This story follows Astrid, a 26 year old female who ran away from home 10 years ago. The only reason she has come back was to get away from the hole she dug her self into. She is running away from her problems again. Life before she ran away wasn't as nice as the public saw it- the sherif's family, happy, and loving. Behind the doors it was orders being barked left and right with no warning or break. Not wanted to deal with this anymore, Astrid ran. On her voyage out, she ran into some trouble that seemed all fine until it wasn't. She comes back home and everything is all fine and dandy until, "Unknown: You thought you could hide forever? I found you, and I can find your friend, Nicole. If you want her safe, you'll be at the ring in an hour." Since Astrid's leave, the town suddenly had a motorcycle gang that hangs around, not realling doing anything in particular, but the sherif doesn't trust them much. I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late. My music cut out causing me to hear a whistle. I stop in my tracks and pull my headphones down to my neck. Turning around, I seen a group of men with one guy who just smirked at me. "You new here beautiful?" one of the guys asked. "What do you think Einstein?" cocking my brow. "Ohh. Challenging? I like." he says walking towards me, about two inches away. "Really?" biting my lip, as he continued walking towards me. He reaches out and grabs my hip, "Mmhmm," smiling down at me. Swiftly, I grab his hand, turn him around, kick him right above the back of his knee, and pushes down so he's on his knees in front of me in a position of which I could brake his arm, "What a shame, 'cause personally, I don't like fuck boys with various STD'S." I look at all the men in the group who had their jaws dropped, all except for one, "Touch me one more time, and I'll brake your arm in two." I stand and kick his back so he falls on the concert. "Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." The guards grabbed me, forcing me to enter the room I didn't even want to be in. I didn't want to be here. I didn't want to be captured. And most of all I didn't want to see this mendacious pharaoh. I hated this man! Absolutely hated him. His eyes filled with intense hate as he stared at me. He looked at me with a bored expression on his face. "I thought I told you to bring me the rebel leader, not some vacuous little girl." Anger started boiling inside me. The guards were about to respond but I interrupted them. "Why Pharaoh! What makes you believe I am not the rebel leader?" He looked at me annoyingly."Well for one thing you're a girl" I was completely enraged! "How sexist! You think that just because I'm not a man I can't be a leader! People like you disgust me! It sickens me that I even looked up to you as a child! I idolized you! Followed you everywhere! Thought-" I quickly covered my mouth realizing I had said to much. This isn't how I imagined the situation when I finally saw him again. I couldn't control my anger around him. The pharaoh's board expression turned into a more interested one. "You talk as if we have met before but I have absolutely no clue who you are! By all means I'm interested.... What are you called?" This was really bad! If I told him my name he would kill all of my comrades too. I had to lie... For their sake. "Neith..." The Pharaoh's eyes quickly snapped to me. "Let me rephrase my previous question... Tell me your FULL name and don't you dare give a fake one either or I will slaughter every single member of the rebel army... Even family members who weren't even involved will be killed." It was over! I couldn't let him kill all of those people. I guess my time was up now. He cornered me in to a wall. The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. What if he had a past he didn't tell you about and the only way you found out is because the past came to kill you? And I'm not talking werewolves and vampires. Cherise would only wish for problems for they would be so simple compared to hers and Zaire's. The blade of my hidden knife stops just a few centimetres from the prince's warm skin of his neck. He lays there, eyes closed and rhythmic breathing. His defined jaw relaxed and his teeth barely showing behind his pink lips. I hear voices coming from the hallway. I glance up at the door then back to the sleeping Prince. The door handle rattles, the guards yell from behind the wall. I bite my lip, balancing the blade just on the skin of the prince's neck. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Complet

"What I was going to say was selfish..." He mumbled. I edge closer to him until my hand slowly cradled his cheek. Tilting his head up to look at me. "Please let me know what it was." Trying to catch it, I look up at Achille. His eyes were now a crimson red that intrigued me. He shook his head and suddenly he was gone in a blur. Confused, I stood as I had to pop my back from the hard hit into the tree. Looking in the direction Achille ran off, I knew I couldn't see him because it'd be a blur. Always thought it was fascinating how when he runs you can't see it. Being a vampire must be...fascinating. Yet he makes it out to be hell. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific. I would love to know what it felt like for a day. Just one day...Complet
