It was our last session for the day. My friend Sophia and i were in class (we were in the ninth grade) gossiping about how cute Chad (most popular kid of our grade and happens to be the captain of the football team) was. Sophia and i were friends since kindergarten and we never let anything get between us. (except a totally hot and cute boy). As for me, my name is Amanda Cordero, known as a geek and sometimes even a tom boy. Anyways back to the story, we were waiting for our math teacher Ms. James which always seems to be late.
A few minutes after, our principal Mr. BlackBerry came to our class to announce that we were given a new math teacher. Sophia and i were a little upset because who teaches better than a teacher who doesn't give homework we both thought. When suddenly an handsome young man walked right through the class door.
My eyes widen as i could see that this new teacher could be my special someone.

"Alright, it's 12 noon. Deal or not?" I couldn't look at him, so I stared at the beauty in front of me. Somehow I knew he was watching it too. I said and turned towards him. We remained silent for a couple of moments, absorbing the meaning of the deal we just agreed to. And then I saw his lips turned upwards just enough for me to notice. He turned to me and held my hand. I felt several emotions just by touching him. Nervousness, excitement, fear, happiness all at once. I pushed them all aside, and smiled ear to ear. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.
