A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
6 years after the destruction of the Second Death Star and the defeat of the Emperor, the Empire is in shambles, and several groups of Sith struggle to cut the ties with the crumbling Imperium before they are pulled down with it. In the desolate reaches of Hutt controlled space, the skies over the forest planet of Vodran are lit with the cannon fire of Imperial ships. On the surface, a band of wayward Sith find themselves trapped amongst the chaos of the invading Imperial army, desperate for an escape...

While independent rebel forces with their minuscule manpower each push back against The Emperor's cruel regime with all their might, they suffer tremendous casualties and are executed with exceptional cruelty. This new spark of a Galactic Civil War has already lit a fire too big to quell now, and will only get stronger. The Empire already has torn apart countless star systems, the inhabitants either joining the untold billions of the Empire, or being crushed under their heel. To be a man in such times is to live in fear, fear of the unchanging cruelty from the Emperor's iron fist, fear of stepping out of line. A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... It is an era of oppression in the galaxy. For years, the evil Galactic Empire has conquered and subjugated countless peaceful worlds but as their tyranny spreads across the galaxy, brave men and women rise up to rebel against the darkness. On the distant planet of Lothal, imperial forces have controlled and oppressed the innocent people of this once quiet planet to fuel their factories. With the noble Jedi Order all but destroyed, there is little hope for the citizens of Lothal to know freedom once again. A small rebel unit, known as The Spectres have arrived to aid the planet and fight the Empire. Amongst this crew is young man by the name of Aurelian fights alongside his friends against tyranny as he begins to awaken his true powers and reshape the galaxy... (You will find a lot of 40k influence in this story, to the point it might be a crossover in some respects. Nothing crazy, so no Space Marines, demons, or the like will show up. Just names, places, and imagery mostly.)

So, I have decided to completely redo the OG trilogy book, so anything you saw there, ignore it. This book is the next in line after "Vengeance: A Sith's Story", and is a sequel. One of these individuals, is a man called Kyran Xovia, the son of Grand Emperor Malidictus, and is the prince of the empire, often referred to as "Darth Dreadis", or, "The Black Wind", due to his ability to galvanize people, and his innate darkness that shines through the night sky. Hating the Galactic Empire with a passion that is more fiery than even his own Father's hatred of it, Ky decides to make a stand against it...by joining, the Rebellion. Specifically with a group called..."The Ghost crew". After a mission on Lothal, things start to get a LOT more complicated...for the young Sith Lord... As the Sith code says, "The force...shall set me free"...

This is purely fanfiction. I've set this story in a timeline that does not clash with the movies or any of the expanded universe. It has been a thousand years since the Jedi returned and Galactic Empire was defeated. The Sith have been destroyed and sent back to the shadows of the galaxy.
