The Mating Gathering is a time every young werewolf looks forward to. At a time when soul mates no longer exists, the High Council had to set up a way to bring different bloodlines together to keep their species alive.

Lucas, along with his best friend Thomas, went into the gathering with his eye on his long time crush. Excitement was in the air and he was more than ready to claim blonde haired beauty.

What happens when he is patiently waiting for his name to be drawn, only to hear her name called out and having to watch her be given to someone else.

Anger consumes him and Lucas is hell bent on getting revenge, no matter the cost.
