Michael Carterson's life couldn't be better: he's a senior in high school; he's involved with church; he's on the swim team and the soccer team; and he has lots of friends. There's only one problem. He thinks he might be gay. There is nothing he wants less, until he makes a new friend and embarks on a journey of self-discovery that will involve challenging every belief he'd ever held. As he gets ready to graduate high school and leave home, he has to choose between the new friends who accept him and his old friends who are all he's ever known. In finding out and accepting who he is, he will face a challenge that will completely change his life and nearly send him over the edge.
