"You know, this would be a lot easier if you just gave up now. It'll save you the embarrassment. You know you're gonna lose, so why even bother trying?" Her tone enraged me. It was somewhere between a sinister pout, and a snide suggestion. This game may be immoral and just utterly wrong, but there's no way in hell I'm going to let her belittle me in front of my peers like this.
"I told you, I'm not chickening out. So don't get your hopes up so high, Lindsey." I told her sounding fearless, although my palms were sweating, and my insides felt like a pool of melted jello. She gave me a tight-lipped smile, though I could tell she was undeniably livid. What was she afraid of? Losing?
After declining her offer, her crystal eyes narrowed and pierced into mine - full of unadulterated hatred. "Fine. And since I'm such a good sport about all of this," she started as she outstretched her hand, tipped with perfectly manicured nails. "Good luck." At first glance, I thought that maybe she was being genuinely considerate.
Of course, I was wrong as I reached my hand out and she pulled hers back, snickering. "You're gonna need all you can get." With a smug grin, the snap of her finger, and a whip of her platinum blonde hair, she and her minions turned around and left me seething. If it were humanly possible, I'd have steam whistling out of my ears.
"Game on." I snarled under my breath.
The need to beat Lindsey completely obliterated any and all of the sane thoughts left in my mind. Suddenly, I was determined not only to win this game, but to wipe the floor with her.
That bitch is going down. She wants a battle, fuck that...this means war.

"And how do you suppose we do that?" I scooted a little closer to him and tilted my head a little, curious to know what his response would be.
"Um well we could uh talk about our lives you know, school and family and friends and other stuff like that."
"And do you really want to do that?" I asked him running a finger down his white t-shirt after closing the small distance between us. "Do you really want to just sit and talk about family," I leaned over to whisper in his ear, "and friends," I lightly nipped his earlobe while continuously running my finger down his shirt until I reached the waistline of his black jeans, "and school," I was just about to trace my finger over his zipper when he gripped my hand and looked me in the eye just as I finished saying, "and other stuff like that."
I looked up from our hands to his green eyes, taking in the blueish specks of his irises, with a hint of hazel mixed, surrounding his pupil. We stared at each other for a minute, me admiring how close his proximity is and how the tingly sensation of his hand on mine felt good.
"No I don't." Dominic groaned out, looking down at my lips and then back up at me.
"No you don't what?" I leaned in a little, suddenly feeling drawn in to his green eyes and awaiting lips.

Ryler didn't expect to fall for him so soon. It only took her 2 days for her to realize how much she truly cares for him.
Only 2 days for her to also realize it was a mistake.
Only 2 days for her to feel heartbroken.
