Transcendental

Lucinda has known since she was born that her very existence threatened the sacred balance between heaven and hell. As a being born somewhere in between, she knows that the only way to avoid destroying the shaky balance between each side is to remain in a state of complete neutrality- devoid of emotion or attachments. She has lived this way for thousands of years, until the day she meets Celeste. Celeste is a being unlike any Lucinda has ever known; a being so unique, that Lucinda can't seem to stay away. Suddenly bombarded with emotions she has never experienced before, Lucinda must find her own way to keep her feelings under control, while fighting against those who wish to destroy her sense of self and use her to destroy everything she's fought to protect.
