Fifteen year old Lila Johnston is raised by her wealthy family in Santa Monica, California. She isn't aloud to do multiple things because of the fact that her family is a "higher class type" family, for example: she isn't allowed to talk to "lower-class people," she can't wear "lower-class clothes," and most certainly can not date any "lower-class people."
