Lauren is your average girl. Short, a bit on the skinny side, hazel eyes, brown hair, freckles, lives in Northern Virginia, goes to Owl Creek High.
Then she accidently sends an email to the wrong person, getting just one number wrong (20 instead of 200).
That one number changes her whole life. She meets Eli, a sassy boy with a lot to say. Slowly, she falls in love with him.
Eli is not your average boy. He's taller than average, with one green eye and one blue eye, left-handed, and dyed black hair with purple fringe. He gets an email from a weird girl, who introduces herself as boring and normal. He knows that everyone has a weird side, and he's determined to bring out Lauren's weird side. After a while of waiting and hiding, Tal finally notices the main character and automatically falls in love with them; they had love at first sight. Slowly this major change affected the main character, their everyday life, and experiences they haven't had before. Their friends leave them and the main character is left with Tal and a few of his friends. The main character doesn't notice all of the changes they have had, and is left alone after something big happens to Tal.
