[COMPLETED] War certainly seems to drag on... Rations are handled with care and stationary can make a man smile.
Alfred wished his story was less cliché. He wished he didn't have to love the one on the other side of the line.
Kiku wished there was no story. He wanted to finish the war and wanted to go home.
After a war drove them apart, a pen and some paper seems to bring them closer.

A Hero By Any Other Name [OLD]
[OLD. NEW VERSION OUT NOW.] One day, Alfred had mistakenly left his journal in the meeting room. He had left his stuff behind due to an emergency back at his home, and so; the remaining nations were appalled at finding something that he'd been writing in. And unfortunately, curiosity killed the cat. Many of the others began to read the pages, which led them all to realize that Alfred was a whole lot different than what they'd thought he'd be, for being the personification of the United States. Several twists and turns begin to crumble, as a hidden secret between Arthur, Matthew, and Alfred comes to light. While Matthew descends into mental chaos- the rest of the nations manage to take back the journal, only to find out some horrible secrets the American has about them. Finally~AmeriPan
After a huge fight with his father and nowhere to go, America finds himself with no ending to his frustration. Yet when he goes to his best friends place for some help, he couldn't help but wonder why Japan wants a broken old loser who feels stupid all the time. Let alone needs one. ~ And, 'Finally' the final and one of my best books out here. Taking place as the same time as 'Fixed', this story tells the POV of America, and what his journey during the whole ordeal was like, but told a little bit more awesome and cooler then Mattie's side.Complete
Loving The Enemy ( America x Russia )
Alfred, who has been told to shut up and grow up all his life, fears the scary and powerful Ivan. But to prove he is strong and to protect his friends, he attempts to face his fear. Ivan, a lonely Russian whose immense power has caused him to be very lonely and feared, hates the childish actions of Alfred. But what happens when they are stuck in the same house with each other for only heaven knows how long? Read to find out! This is a America x Russia fanfic of the anime Hetalia. I do not own hetalia nor the characters, but I do own this story. PS I use human names and hints of yaoi but nothing serious. ~Edit~ I finally updated the cover xD I didn't like the old cover, so I fixed it :D thanks!Complete
