"Abort it." "Excuse me ?" "Abort that thing inside of you!" He shouts in my face. I put my hands on his chest, trying to put some space between us. The man didn't even budge. "I'm not aborting my baby!" I feel strong hands wrap around my throat, and the next thing I know, I'm being lifted off the floor, fighting for air. "Listen here, you bitch you will abort that child, and if you don't, I'll personally kill you both myself. I'm a man of my word. Do not test me." He spat dead calm. Elora finds herself in a sticky position when her brother was in a terrible car accident, leading to an expensive medical bill that neither of them could afford. Her parents died when she was young, leaving her brother as her sole guardian. The two had been incredibly close over the years, and she had to find a way to help him in his current position. She had no choice but to sleep with a man she knew nothing about for money to cover the hospital bill, but later found out she was pregnant. The worst-case scenario is that the father wants nothing to do with her and the unborn child. After three years of guilt, pain, and regret, the two cross paths once more, and Elora struggles to make the right decisions as he was determined to be in their little girl's life. Crushed Underneath the Surface
For years, I've been writing in silence, creating worlds, characters, and stories that lived only in the margins of my notebooks and tucked-away folders on my computer. Writing has always been my escape, something I've done for myself-a way to step out of reality for a moment and breathe through the lives of the people I've imagined. I've written and rewritten countless stories, always hesitant to share them, never quite confident enough to let anyone else peek into the depths of my mind. It's always felt like just a hobby, something personal, something safe. But deep down, I've carried a quiet dream of becoming a writer, even though it felt a little foolish to hope for something so big. Now, after pouring myself into this story for what feels like a lifetime, I've finally done it-I've uploaded all my chapters to Wattpad, sharing this piece of me with the world. I know I still have so much to learn, and I'm always striving to get better, but I would truly appreciate any feedback-good, constructive criticism that can help me grow. She scowls and says," The owner of this ALS company.Why can't it be a female?" Feminist much? But she looks very offended like we are talking about her. My eyes go wide in realization. It can be true. Like the way she was giving orders over the phone that day,confidence and arrogance that she carries,her intimidating aura that demands respect and power,the way she ruthlessly took revenge on Lockwood and scared off that waitress,the way she got offended with my statement and ALS is probably her name's initials. These all scream only one thing. SHE IS THE OWNER OF THE ALS GROUP OF COMPANIES,SHE IS THE MYSTERIOUS BILLIONAIRE THAT HAS BEEN TALK OF THE TOWN AND SHE IS THE OWNER OF THIS CLUB AND MANY OTHER PROPERTIES. I look at her with wide eyes and then I give her a devilish smirk.Now it's her time to get confused.I took my phone out to text her. "I know you are the owner of The ALS Group of companies" I leave her no room to deny.I see a fear in her eyes for a quick second before she masks it with her usual blank and cold look.
