"Don't worry about me." He whispered as we pulled apart from our hug, "I'm going to be fine."
We caught each others gaze and held it for what could've been a second but truly felt like a lifetime, my eyes started to cloud with tears and my heart felt like it was going to break into a billion tiny pieces. "Just promise me one thing" I spoke quietly.
"Anything!" He replied quickly as if he would go to the end of the earth if I asked him to do so.
"Don't forget about me."
