This is a tale of a man and the monster that inhabits him. When a young boy loses everything, he gains the power to cast his revenge. In the juxtaposed fantasy world of Tethra, a mysterious form of creature roams the lands, known as Darkbeasts. Darkbeasts, named for their pitch-black and monstrous appearance, have inhabited Tethra for as long as mankind and Beastmen can remember, though their origin is still unknown. They don't procreate, yet their numbers never dwindle, no matter how many Beast Hunters kill. Beast Hunters are specially trained warriors, whose sole occupation is to simply hunt and kill Darkbeasts. Some extremist Beast Hunters however, also target Beastmen, who seem to be hybrids of human and animal. There aren't many Beastmen in the world, as they are widely hated and discriminated by mankind, and most of them come to be labor slaves of any variety. A large organization known simply as "The Brotherhood" oversee all Beast Hunter activity, and even have sway in government decisions. The Laminas, a husband and wife skilled in blacksmithing, design weapons for the Beast Hunters, specially made to be more effective at killing Darkbeasts. The Laminas recently bore a son, who they train in smithing and combat. This tale is of a medieval/gothic fantasy setting, and will span many themes, such as action, revenge, and romance.
When the darkness engulfs the Earth and the fire of vengeance burns in their hearts, that's when The Blood-Mage Hunters spill the scarlet blood of those who oppose the balance of their land.
"The Blood-Mage Hunters". Every single inhabitant in the "Cruxesta" Kingdom knows that name.
In a world where human and fantasy creatures live together, someone has to keep the peace and balance of the land, and that responsibility has befallen on the shoulders of the so called Blood-Mage Hunters, a group of three exceptionally strong vampires: Reia, Cyrus and Lucien.
For hundreds of years, they have fought against the injustice brought upon humans by other mystical beings, or captured the evil "vampire hunters" terrorizing the kingdom.
However, justice isn't their only goal. What they truly seek is revenge. Revenge against the vampire that bit them a 100 years ago. The being that turned them into monsters and keeps turning other innocent people even today.
Secrets, blood and death. That's what their story is filled with. Will they manage to achieve their goals against all odds, or will they become victims at the hands of the evil creature that has turned them and many others into vampires?
