Hades and Persephone
Persephone has already been kidnapped by Hades, her unwanted and unexpected suitor. Demeter has already cast a famine on all the humans in her grief. Hades struggles to win Persephone over...but perhaps Persephone has always been meant to be with him, and she wasn't an innocent as she was thought she was... Daughter of Goddess Demeter and the God Zeus, Queen of the Underworld, known for her naive yet kind nature, as well as her beauty. She caught the eye of Hades, the God of the Underworld, who wanted nothing more than to make the beautiful maiden his wife. After struggling to take Persephone away from her mother, Hades finally had the love of his life at last. He assumed that once Persephone swallowed the six seeds of the pomegranate that she would be his forever. However, it was not the case. Kore Caras has always been aware of her talented green thumb, although while the people of her town know her to be a talented florist, there is so much more to the young woman. At an early age, Kore discovered her talent among plant life, how she could make even a wilting flower bloom at her will. Running a successful floral shop in town, everything seems to be going smoothly for the young woman as the days of summer draw to an end. But everything starts to take a drastic turn when Kore discovers what appears to be pomegranate seeds outside of her front door.Concluida

Death is what comes to people like a thief in the night, snatching them with no intentions of bringing them back. Death is a nagging parent that you try to outsmart time and time again but no matter how many times you may think you have outsmarted them, in the end they will have the last word. Death is the old friend that nobody likes and yet you cannot live without. Death is many things but I never thought it would be my lover. Kore lives alone with her controlling mother, Demi. She hasn't seen any other person besides her homeschool teacher since she was a little girl after a mysterious incident happened at school one day that her mother refuses to talk to her about. She keeps her locked away on a farm and only lets her go out occasionally. It isn't until her cat dies and after picking him up, becomes alive again when she realizes why her mother has locked her away for all these years. She discovers she has the gift of healing. When she confronts her mother about it, her mother reveals to her that they are not human but in fact, Goddesses trapped inside human vessels to protect Kore from the Gods who want to marry her. But things only get worse when one day, as Kore is picking flowers in the meadow, there is an earthquake and she is taken up by this earthquake and falls into the arms of none other than Hades. A modern re-imagining of the story of Persephone.Concluida

Her father Zeus arranged her marriage to Hades, the god of the Underworld, but she refused to marry such an evil god. After being kidnapped, she finds that her father arranged that, too. Stuck in the Underworld, betrayed and lonely in a miserable marriage, she vows to get away...until she starts to realize her husband isn't so bad, after all. When escape is offered she accepts it, but realizes she is stuck forever in the Underworld...and isn't as upset as she should be. Her family is, however, and it seems like Persephone will never get a break.Concluida

"I've told you, Hades, I can not become your mistress." she sadly told him. She had always lived in her mother's shadow, and if she followed Hades, she would once again be living in another's shadow. Even though she loved him, she did not think she could stomach it. "I do not want you to be my mistress, Persephone, I want you to be my queen," he confessed to her. She snapped her head up to meet his eyes, searching for any sign he wanted to take his words back, but there was no remorse. And just like that, she fell ever so slightly more in love with him. "Your queen?" she asked, she had to be sure. Strangely the word had slid off her tongue gracefully as if it had belonged there. "Yes, become my queen," he told her once again, taking back the step she had taken. "Rule besides me as the goddess of spring and the Underworld."
