Katherine was awaiting her 18th birthday to be executed for her crimes but was instead told that she and 99 other teenager prisoners were being sent to Earth for the first time in 97 years since the nuclear apocalypse. But how can a bunch of teenagers survive a radiation-soaked planet? [Season 1] *disclaimer* I don't own any character expect for Katherine Kane (a few other originals that'll pop up along the way). The plot belongs solely to the CW "the 100" writers and producers. It's based loosely on the book series but follows (for the most part) the plot of the CW show. Lauren Jones lived on the Ark for a total of 17 and a 1/2 years before she was supposed to be sent to die at the age of 18. But, before her death was at hand she was chosen with 99 other prisoners of the Ark to be taken back to Earth. Earth the place known as unsurvivable for its radiation problems 97 years ago, which caused the Ark to be built. Lauren is sent to Earth scared of what is to come but also grateful to be off the Ark and seeing something she has imagined her whole life. Living on the Ark made her emotions weak and crack which caused her to put on a tough image to withstand her fragile mindset. Can someone on earth make her happy, less scared, and graceful again ?
