Nathan De Vera has it all-power, wealth, and the reputation of being the most ruthless CEO in the country. At 28, he built an empire from the ground up, crushing anyone who dared to stand in his way. He doesn't believe in second chances. He doesn't tolerate mistakes. And most of all, he never lets anyone challenge him. Until Autumn Reyes storms into his office. She's nothing like the women in his world-ordinary, stubborn, and completely unimpressed by his money and power. She doesn't fear him. She doesn't bow to him. And worst of all? She dares to fight him head-on. What starts as a business dispute quickly turns into a battle of wits, pride, and something neither of them expected-attraction. But falling for her was never part of Nathan's plan. Because in his world, emotions are weaknesses. And falling in love? That's the one thing that could bring him to his knees. Will the arrogant CEO finally meet his match? Or will Autumn be the only woman to ever walk away from him unscathed?
