We screeched down the tight curve in the police cruiser. "It's 1,000 degrees in here" My partner Asher stated. 
"Well we are in Vegas" I replied slamming the brakes as we pulled up to the crime scene. I jumped out of the cruiser and left Jon in the dust. "Halt, We need your I.D, Ma'am" a middle aged police officer said well blocking my way. I fished into my pockets feeling my M6R pistol and my detectives badge. I flashed my badge to the officer and he let me threw. I found myself in a dark alleyway right beside a shoe store.
