Harry can't take what he's surrounded by anymore. It's all fake. Everything around him, everything's he's been built on. He's beginning to feel like he has become fake.
He flees to get away from life for a while, escaping to a quaint coastal town in the Western Cape of South Africa that embodies 'the middle of nowhere'. His plan is to get time alone and decide what is true to him and what is not, but he soon finds himself curious about the town and all it has to offer. In particular, a peculiar but down to earth girl by the name of Avalene Swan.
And perhaps she is exactly what he needs, or perhaps not.
