They flew in a rigid square formation. Many claps and hollers were heard in the crowd; Dyvahn clapped along too so people wouldn't look at him disdainfully.

"We conquered the WaterTribe with ease! Although it was tiresome, we are proud to say we did not lose anyone in the battle. The WaterTribe now knows our power and will bend to our will. Due to this, we can now influence and teach them the correct ways. Look again to your fellow mighty comrades and clap again. You should aspire and admire them! They have partaken in a world-changing event, a mark in history, and a mark for the future! Eventually, the GrasslandTribe will be known for not only conquering, but teaching the other tribes! We will become the Father of this land, sitting alongside the Great Mother Dragon herself!" Rei spoke his encouraging speech.

The hollers continued in the crowd, maybe even got louder. The dragon army flew just above them and hovered around them in a circle.

"The army will now land with my command. Feel free to greet and congratulate them for their stupendous victory."

Rei raises a hand to the air, almost like for a high-five. He pauses for a few seconds then swiftly cuts the air. In one motion, all the dragons descend and land, some grunting. Speech erupted among the people as they flock to the nearest warrior. Two high pitched squeals sound, and the two girls from earlier run passed Dyvahn, nearly running him over. Dyvahn follows them nonchalantly to a particular rider and his bright orange dragon.

"Lieutenant Daniel!" they scream in unison.

He dismounts with a smirk. Dyvahn leans against a nearby building and watches them with a gag. The lieutenant kneels and kisses them both on the hands, causing both of their cheeks to turn as pink as a flower.

"Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. "It was the first thought she ever shared with me." Skylar pursed her lips. "She likes you very much." "What about you?" he teased gently. "How do you feel about me?" She set her jaw and once again managed to look down her nose at him while staring up at him. "Well... well, I'm rather fond of you, Orion." He let out a relieved laugh and pulled her into his chest again. "What a relief. I was worried it was just me." He nuzzled her temple, inhaling deeply, his dragon fully at peace. The words "I love you" were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew it was too soon for that. He would have to hold them in just a little while longer. "I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. "One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) @ROSE___555 and @Contrastgaze (@Echo_IsNoFurry is a broken acc) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! (Might be a little gore; warnings on chapters that include it. Suitable for ages 8+)

Torin has always felt out of place in his small village. Despite the familiarity of his surroundings, he cannot shake the feeling that he doesn't belong. He longs for a place where he can truly be himself, away from the expectations of his people, a life free of the stifling weight of conformity. His dreams are filled with a sense of belonging, a vision of a life where he is accepted for who he is, not for who others expect him to be. One fateful day, while attending the annual Dragon Safe Arena, where dragons are brought to be killed for sport and fear, something extraordinary happens. A black dragon, larger and more majestic than any Torin has ever seen, enters the arena. The crowd erupts in excitement, but Torin feels an unexpected connection. The dragon's eyes lock onto his, and in that moment, he hears a voice-not in his ears, but in his mind. The dragon speaks to him, its words clear, yet impossible: "I see you, young one. You do not belong here." In a shock of realization, Torin understands the dragon's plea. No one else can hear it, no one else can understand the words-but Torin can. At that moment, everything changes. He chooses to defy the world he's always known, running away with the dragon, escaping the village that never understood him. As they journey together, seeking refuge in the wilds, they encounter other teens-four others-each of whom carries their own special gift. They, too, are misfits. One has the power to control the wind, another can manipulate shadows, a third can speak to animals, and the last can heal with a touch. The group of them, united by their unique abilities, form an unlikely family.

If Daemon Targaryen was born a girl and was betrothed to her brother Viserys. * House Targaryen, in recent years, had been plagued with unruly daughters. "I do not know whether to laugh or weep," Princess Rhaenys tossed her hair. "That it is you, Daena Targaryen, who will one day hold the title that I never will," "I had no idea," Daena made her eyes wide and innocent, though her tone was anything but. "That you wanted to lay with my brother so badly, Rhaenys. Is Lord Corlys no longer satisfying you?" * "I'm sorry, Daena," Prince Baelon said. "But you will marry Viserys before the year is out," And so what if, once her father was gone, she immediately ran off to the Dragonpit and mounted Caraxes, screaming at the top of her lungs into the clouds over Blackwater Bay? Her voice was lost in the wind, but the Blood Wyrm let out a great roar, sensing her turmoil, which echoed far and wide. Flocks of seabirds scattered, and fishing boats below cried out in alarm. With a dragon, the world knew her. On a deserted beach somewhere down the coast, Daena curled up against Caraxes' great red shoulder, leaning her face against his warm scales. The beast, who was feared even by the Dragonkeepers for his temper, lowered his snout, nudging her gently, no hint of those fearsome teeth showing. "If it's truly so awful, we can run away together," She told him, and herself too, stroking his red scales. "I know you hate the Dragonpit, anyway. I wish they wouldn't chain you up. Who cares if you eat the odd servant?" He made a rumbling noise, and she smiled. "At least I will have you," Daena said. "I will always have you," * The long awaited (and highly requested) fourth part of my Westeros genderbend series.

Jolene

33 parts Complete

Jolene was at a loss on how to proceed. Weeks ago she was a simple pioneer girl living at the edge of civilization. Now she was hailed as the queen of the dragons as she was responsible for bringing the last of the dragons forth, most of them falling into imperial hands. The fate of the world rested on her shoulders. She and her companion dragon riders responded by dropping water filled bladders on the emperor and his entourage from their dragons. The fact that Mother Ruth knew of her action surprised her. "What is this?" Jolene asked. "Your wanted poster. Thought you might enjoy it." "How do you always know so much. We can't seem to do anything without you knowing about it." "I speak to all the dragons, Jody, even the Wyvern." "I never expected my Blue to be such a blabbermouth," Jolene teased. "Work on the chain breaking spell, all of you need to learn it. I'm counting on all of you. Jody, you will be the one true queen, remember that." "Shall we tell her the rest of the prophesy," Mathilda asked Ruth when they were alone. "Not yet, she needs time. Time to grow in strength and find her solution." "The false queen will kill her, I have seen it." "Perhaps Mathilda, Jolene is made of stern stuff, I feel in my heart she will win the day."
