Every year in the city of Ashhaven, a city carnival occurs. Over 10 million people attend the carnival each year. One year Ellie Adams and her best friend, Skylar Feeney attend the carnival and have the time of their life. Ellie, being a true daredevil is dared to go onto the Ferris Wheel with the person standing in front of her in the line. That's when she meets Beckett Masdit, an eighteen-year-old college boy. They go on the Ferris Wheel together and as the wheel turns and they are closer to the top, sparks fly. When Beckett leaves her flustered on the Ferris Wheel she is then determined to find him.
