This is My Life
I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! It was an ordinary day. Nothing thrilling ever happened. That was until my whole world got turned upside down, but that wasn't thrilling, it was terrifying. I thought my life was over. I hadn't even graduated from college. I thought my life was over but it had only just began. A terrifying event led to love. I had never been loved like this. I just wanted my piece of happiness, even if it meant finding it where no one would ever dream to. Love is supposed to last forever but the world was against us. Literally.
