Saints, Kings, gods. All people of higher authority, given ranks. Once given the rank, must fulfill their duties to keep there people safe, even if that meant sacrifice. In a fairytale, a princess could not marry a peasant man, because he did not have wealth. The man showed his strengths to impress the princess's father, and even after all the tasks, he was not granted the princess's hand in marriage.
