Thomas didn't have a lifetime of stories to tell. He didn't have as many memories as you or I have. But he had some good times, and had some times which are only seen in nightmares.
But the thing about Thomas was he was a real person, with feelings, with a voice, which his own kind of humour. Your not reading the Fault in Our Stars where there is a story threaded into Thomas's adventure where he got to meet his hero and had a love of his life.
Actually as much as I wish Cancer worked wonderful tales into Thomas's life it didn't.
So here is the truth about Cancer. The truth about a 6 year old with cancer who didn't understand he was dying and how it affected him, and how it affected his family. And what I think of him now.

In this book I'm going to go into detail of my experiences with him. From the day he was diagnosed with cancer to the day he died. I'm going to go through my little memories of him being silly. I'm going to talk about his dreams. His fears. His potential. And how a 6 year old changed my life, my world and my existence.
